The interplay of topography, climate, soil, and the strategic location at the junction of the Northeast and Northwest regions has endowed Xuân Sơn National Park with a remarkable ecological diversity. This region hosts a variety of quintessential ecosystems of Vietnam, with particular emphasis on the forest ecosystems of limestone and sedimentary mountains, which remain largely pristine. Such forested areas are now scarce in the country. These conditions provide a unique opportunity for the Xuân Sơn ecosystem to foster economic advancement. However, this ecosystem remains delicate and necessitates measures for its protection and sustainable, judicious utilization.
