Abstract
Effective stakeholder engagement is fundamental to the success of community health projects, particularly in reproductive health programs where cultural sensitivity plays a crucial role in determining program acceptance and outcomes. This qualitative study examines stakeholder engagement strategies that enhance community participation and improve health outcomes through culturally sensitive outreach approaches. Using thematic analysis of existing literature, this research identifies key strategies for stakeholder identification, communication, and participation that contribute to successful community health interventions across diverse cultural contexts. The findings reveal that culturally adapted engagement methods, community-led approaches utilizing trusted messengers such as community health workers and peer educators, and sustained relationship-building are essential for achieving meaningful stakeholder participation and sustainable health outcomes. The study presents an integrated framework that links project stakeholder management principles to health advocacy practices, offering practical guidance for program planners, health practitioners, and policymakers. Results demonstrate that programs employing culturally sensitive stakeholder engagement strategies achieve significantly higher rates of community acceptance, service utilization, and program sustainability compared to conventional approaches. This research contributes to both theoretical understanding and practical application of stakeholder engagement in community health contexts, emphasizing the imperative of cultural humility and community empowerment in achieving health equity.
